Minneapolis Event Center Where Janneke Weds Brady
Janneke and Brady's wedding at Minneapolis Event Center was the perfect combination of relaxed and energetic; simple and tasteful. Along with their multitudinous wedding party, guest laughed, cried and sighed as the couple exchanged their vows.
It started with an excellent (short but sweet) rehearsal on Friday and culminated with a full dance floor - sore feet from dancing and aching cheeks from smiling. Oh, and don’t forget about the ice cream bar, always a crowd pleaser.
6 THINGS WE CAN LEARN
Vendors likely need to be fed if they are in attendance at your wedding during dinner, account them early and include them in your initial meal count email to catering
A room layout is useful, a room layout with table numbers labeled: imperative
If you have a generous family member who is building an arch, arbor or other ceremony structure, ensure they understand the weight of whatever floral decor will be attached to said structure
If you have names that are commonly mispronounced, provide phoentic spelling with anyone who might be saying those names out loud (planner, DJ or other emcee, even your photographer). Case and point, Janneke (“ya-nuh-kuh”)
Room flips can quickly become complicated, have a plan for what can be preset before, what needs to be set during and what can be put away after
Getting ready schedules can start really early, having an accurate count of who needs hair and makeup and then adjusting stylists to accommodate a time window can sometimes be the best option (and least stressful)
