The organized bride-to-be will never fail to place herself at the top of my woo hoo list. Honestly, having an organized engagement has got to automatically mean a happier engagement, just as a rule. And if you yourself are not type A - hire someone who is (like me). But if you are excessively anal, on top of your shit, and manage to do lists like a champ - still feel free to hire someone who is (also me).
Alyssa was a blast to work with before her wedding - easily making me rethink my two-meetings-before-the-big-day day of coordinating package. Actually I am really rethinking this policy.
6 THINGS WE CAN LEARN
Organization is the best way to have a low stress planning process (that and perhaps eloping)
If you’re looking for a way to have special moments with your parents, always, always, do a first look with them
When renting items from vendors be sure to know exactly how many of each item you are getting and when/where they need to be returned
If your wedding ceremony includes multiple rituals, you must have a rehearsal
Said rehearsal is best held at a central location for guests, like your hotel’s banquet room
Even if it’s cold out, outdoor pictures will always be worth it
